Our "Pop" grew peanuts and raised cattle in Voca Texas. I loved going out with him to feed and to help water his peanut pastures. He loved his part of the world. This morning I thought of him as I saw just how much our plants were growing and how full they were. Pop always said that "a few inches of God's rain beat anything we could do for the farm." Pop saw God at work all the time...I'm thankful he was in our lives!

Our Pop and his bride of 50 years...our Nonnie. Talk about a true Texas family! These pictures were taken at their house on the farm...peanut pastures in the background and with my oldest son Chase!
